Q When does the initial visit take place?
A We can arrange a in or out of office hours for the initial site visit.

Q What happens after we have agreed to your quotation?
A We undertake a measured site survey of the existing building, the site survey normally requires 1 – 2 hours depending on the property.

Q How long before we can see the proposed drawings?
A Depending on complexity this is usually 2 weeks after the site survey.

Q How long will the council take in giving permission for planning and building regulation approval.
A Planning can take up to eight weeks of receipt however the council can request an extension of time. Building regulations can also take up to six to eight weeks but again can also request an extension of time.

Q When can I start obtaining quotations from builders?
A Our advice is to wait until the detailed drawings have been produced.

Q When can I start building?
A No works must commence until planning approval has been given. Also see planning and building regulation page for further information.
